- ran relevant python examples against dispatch 1.3.0 (built against
0.24.0)
- compiled c++ examples[1] and ran some against dispatch 1.3.0 (built
against 0.24.0) and against themselves[2]
- built qpid cpp master against it including all tests

[1] I couldn't get cmake to work for the c++ examples when setting
ProtonCpp_DIR (which is the obvious param from ccmake and is also
mentioned in the error running from command line). Using
CMAKE_PREFIX_PATH worked however.
[2] the server_direct example exits without any error if the port is
already in use
