Hi Bryan,

I believe I found the root cause of the issue with asynchronous recovery in
BDB HA.
The fix have been pushed into a master branch as part of JIRA QPID-8407 [1].
I will merge the changes into 7.1.x branch shortly for the following their
inclusion into 7.1.8 release.
