I checked things out as follows:
- Verified the signature and checksum files.
- Checked for LICENCE + NOTICE files in the archives.
- Ran "mvn apache-rat:check" to verify licence headers in source archive.
- Ran the build + tests on JDK 8 + 11 + 17.
- Ran Qpid JMS builds + tests using the staged Proton-J on JDK 8 + 11 + 17.
- Ran ActiveMQ Artemis build + AMQP tests with built client+proton on JDK 17.
- Build+test modified Quarkus extension for Qpid JMS using the staged
Proton-J on JDK 11 + 17.
