Dear RocketMQ Community:
We'd like to propose a RIP-18 about improving the performance of
SYNC_MASTER. According our benchmark and other users' feedback, the performance
of SYNC_MASTER is only about of 1/10 of ASYNC_MASTER. Sometimes the performance
as well as data durability is both needed, therefore it is important to improve
performance of SYNC_MASTER. Since it's a relative large change and on the
critical path, we propose this RIP. Welcome to discuss and join.
