Hi Apache RocketMQ Community, The Project Management Committee (PMC) for Apache RocketMQ has invited Wuhuan (apache id : pingww) to become PMC Member and we are pleased to announce that she has accepted.
IoT is one of the most popular technology trends in recent years, and there will be tens of billions of IoT devices in the world. Enabling RocketMQ to connect to IoT devices and acquire and process IoT data will greatly expand RocketMQ's application scenarios and further increase RocketMQ's user scale. Wuhuan has 10 years of experience in distributed research and development, and has been focusing on ultra-large scale cloud native IoT messaging technology for the last 4 years. In order to make RocketMQ capable of IoT, Wuhuan overcame many technical challenges, took RocketMQ lightweight queue as storage, introduced MQTT proxy in the mode of storage and computation separation [1], and built RocketMQ IoT message solution [2] integrated with end-cloud. This gives RocketMQ the ability to connect massive iot devices and process iot data. In the process of developing RocketMQ-MQTT, Wuhuan actively mobilized the power of the community and cooperated with contributors from many different organizations to complete the construction of RocketMQ's IoT field, and practiced Apache Way. In addition to contributing to key products and technologies of RocketMQ, Wuhuan has participated in community preaching activities for many times, including Meetup, Summit, WeChat public account, etc., to publicize the major breakthrough of RocketMQ in the IoT field and improve the brand influence of RocketMQ. Congrats, guy :-) Notice: Being a PMC member enables assistance with the management and guides the direction of the project. 【1】https://github.com/apache/rocketmq/wiki/RIP-33-RocketMQ-MQTT 【2】https://github.com/apache/rocketmq-mqtt/commits?author=pingww 【3】https://lists.apache.org/list?d...@rocketmq.apache.org:lte=24M:pingww Best Regards, Apache RocketMQ Team
