Dear Apache RocketMQ Community, I hope you are all doing well. My name is Divyansh Agrawal, and I am an undergraduate student with a deep interest in distributed systems, competitive programming, and software development. I am eager to contribute to Apache RocketMQ through Google Summer of Code (GSoC) 2025, particularly on the project "Optimizing RocketMQ's POP Orderly Consumption Process." I have been exploring RocketMQ’s architecture and codebase to better understand its internal mechanisms and identify areas for optimization. With a strong background in data structures and algorithms (DSA) and problem-solving, I am particularly excited about tackling challenges related to performance optimizations, concurrency control, and message consumption efficiency. My experience includes competitive programming, where I have secured 99.93 percentile in Mathematics in JEE Mains, and I have actively participated in GeeksForGeeks problem-solving and Codeforces contests. Additionally, I have been working on deep learning-related projects, particularly in convolutional neural networks (CNNs), though my expertise in ML is still developing. I would love to get insights from the community regarding the current challenges, key areas of improvement, and best practices for contributing effectively to RocketMQ. Any guidance on relevant issues, performance bottlenecks, or additional resources to explore would be greatly appreciated. Looking forward to learning from all of you and contributing meaningfully to Apache RocketMQ. Best regards, Divyansh Agrawal
