IMO, if it isn’t going to break anything and will allow this potential user to test something, check in what you have and make it general later.

It's not customer approval. The changes are for AMFBinaryData mainly. But I put in a bunch of custom stuff - which represent an incomplete and custom IExternalizable support that only targets ArrayCollection/ArrayList for now.
