Hello and Welcom to Royale :),

1) You have here two options [1] and [2]. Even if you won't choose
Moonshine I recommend you to install it, cause it has nice Tool which
allows you easly download Royale SDK. Please download nightly build of
Moonshine and nightly build - 3.0.0 of that tool [3][4]- I'm part of
Moonshine team and we will release this nightly version soon, so there is
not point missing features. If you are using Mac OS I recommend you to
choose non sandbox version of Moonshine
2) Look here [5]. Once you download SDK go to
folder apache-royale-0.9.8-bin-js\royale-asjs\examples\ and you will find a
lot of examples. Most of them are configured with VSCode and Moonshine - if
not let me know I will add it.
3) Royale has many modules which provides different look and feel. The
closest one which you are asking is called Jewel - example how Jewel is
used is online [6] you can build yourself that example - I recommend you to
start from building on your own one of the example
-> apache-royale-0.9.8-bin-js\royale-asjs\examples\jewel\TourDeJewel\
Moonshine IDE team is also working on porting Adobe Air app using Jewel -
you can see that app after free registration [7]

I hope it helps ;)
