Hi all-

I am trying to bring my self up to speed really fast with spring and hibernate.
I have a quick novice question. I get the impression that you are really not
mixing spring
and hibernate together in blazeds. Isn't that right? It seems with the context
of an IOC container
and metadata to configure and then its own persistence level that spring is
interdependent of hibernate
which offers the concept of creating objects with metadata and persisting them.
Am I correct in saying that
the 2 can exist separately under one blazeds project but you would query the
objects created within each
one separately? That is my take after speed reading some spring. Anywho? If you
use this technology,
please feel free to weigh in. I am trying to learn so I definitely can get a
first wrong impression.

I know they are 2 different frameworks with 2 different capabilities so that
might further enforce
that they are not really mixed TOGETHER but can exist separately in one blaze
project.
Please let me know.

thanks,
J. McNamara
