hiya,
        ok. here's quick info
that tutorial creates a service unit where you'll get a file:poller and a
file:sender . hte poller polls a directory looking for files, and when it
finds them it sends
it to the poller which writes them in another directory.
That by itself is a sample program, using components (file:poller and
file:sender) that servicemix provideso ut of the box

If you want to read a text file and reverse its content, this file
poller/sender is a good start (at least to understad what's going on,
having a service - poller - that sends a message
containing a file to another service - sender - , that's the basic idea)

it looks to me like you have to do a similar thing, but instead of sending
message to a file:sender you'll need to send it to your custom service
engine, which will receive a message (from poller)
containing the file.

now, i know this explanation is too short..... and if you have just
started (i mean, started few days ago... i m a starter too, i have spent
last 2 weeks trying to figure out how to combine file:poller
with my custom services) u might get confused.,,

my suggestion? try first every tutorial here
http://servicemix.apache.org/tutorials.html

have them working, and then add your custom functionality.

have a look at 2.Beginnerl the file poller/sender/. once u got it
working , replace sender with your own ServiceEngine

post here if you have troubles....
