I don't really understand what would happen for this exception to occur. If you look at the code of the MultiplexingConsumerProcessor, it would seems that the pendingMessages map is null, which is only possible when the processor is stopped. Did you stop the SA and restart it ? Or did you only deploy the SA from a clean state ?
