Now that you mention it, I do have a question...

I downloaded the source and got it running in eclipse.  I can run an example
per the eclipse instructions, here
http://servicemix.apache.org/importing-servicemix-into-eclipse.html.

I notice that the resulting eclipse projects do not appear to include
org.apache.servicemix.xmpp but (instead?) include an
org.apache.servicemix.components.jabber with some simular classes in it.  Is
that older?  I'm a little foggy on how this is structured and how to go
about adding in modified XMPP support...
