Hi Jan, I think you could use Mule to comunicate your Java App with AS400 by DTAQ.
Consider: - use a 1.4.x Mule versión because the 2.x versión dont support DTAQ transport yet. - in AS400 you have to create a submit program ( COBOL/RPG/CL ) to read and write the DTAQ... I made some test and work fine for me, but i didn't go to production eviroment yet. I have some simples examples if you want... you could help me with the Java/XML problems.
