AFAIK, the default Ode JBI engine uses an embedded derby database to
persist all the data, not sure what Sun's BPEL engine do by default
... (that may very well explain the performance differences).
Anyway, you should try to drop the sun's bpel engine JBI component in
the deploy folder and see what it gives.
