I have an old smx-jms consumer endpoint that sends the message to a smx-file
sender endpoint. On SMX startup, the queue on which the consumer is
listening had 7,000 messages. Under these circumstances, SMX locked up
shortly after it started up.

OTOH, if I have a new smx-jms consumer endpoint, SMX does not lock under
this scenario.

Does this make sense? Is there a reason why the old endpoint does not
throttle messages like the new one?
