Hi,

Any ideas on the above?

I am looking for a generic way to deploy an OSGI enabled container (SMX4) to
ANY Application- or Web- server, and this thread gives me hope.
I know this is not the correct forum to raise this question, but if you dont
ask....you'll never know

Basically we are looking at using Servicemix 4, in a SOA environment, but
the clients are forcing our hand when it comes to which app-servers or web
servers we may deploy to.
We like the OSGI way of bundling modules but not all appservers are OSGI
enabled, and we do not have control over the deployment environment, other
than providing either an .EAR or a .WAR file to the client which they will
then deploy. I know the ServiceMix 3 can be deployed as a Web app but we are
specifically interested in the OSGI capabilities of SMX4

I have only just started looking at this problem so forgive me if I am
asking silly questions. But can anyone provide me with some insight as to
how this might work? or should we cancel the whole idea
