I think the way to go is to set up the jaasAuthenticationPlugin for ActiveMQ and use a <jaas:config /> to set up the JAAS bits. Note that the JAAS configuration name should match the configuration attribute of the jaasAuthenticationPlugin afaik. Is that what you tried ?
