L.S., This configuration will poll XML files from the /tmp/ftp directory on your server and send them to the endpoint for a service named 'receiver'. The receiver service can now be anything you want: a file:sender for writing files to the local disk, a cxf:provider for invoking webservices or anything else we support. The FTP poller just knows to read the file and send it to an endpoint, so you can make that anything you want.
