I may have hosed that particular case when I fixed the backspacing and
editing multiple lines.  Windows console is pretty much a special case for
ASCII characters and control codes.  For some reason I thought ASCII didn't
work on Windows console out of the box, so if it *was* working before I
missed it when I was testing my fixes on Windows.  My impression with
Windows was that things worked better if you ssh instead of using the direct
console!  :-)

We'll try to take a look at that (its in Karaf).
