Hi Charles,

there is no relationship between this documentation sandbox and the fuse one.

The purpose of the documentation sandbox is:
- gather wiki "standard" documentation (architecture design, installation guide, etc) in a central documentation, more visible
- provide multi output documentation (PDF, HTML)
- provide a more "professional" look and feel

The purpose is to provide:
- a SMX3 PDF user guide
- a SMX4 PDF user guide
- promote http://servicemix.apache.org/home2.html to give more visibility on SMX4 and provide linked user guides.

Regards
JB

FYI,

I began a SMX manual using DocBook to generate PDF/HTML output.
It's in my sandbox svn:
http://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/servicemix/sandbox/jbonofre

I have planned to work on it the next week end.

Maybe it's time to have a discussion about:
- could we act as DocBook is the choosen solution ?
- the relationship between SMX manual, the wiki and Karaf documentation
- etc

JB

I will create a jira ticket and add a manual project as we have in
apache karaf. Next, we have to customize it (regexp, style sheet, ...)
to generate it for servicemix 4.0.

Question : Do we have a one page documentation about servicemix 4 in the
wiki ?

Charles,

As far as I know, we don't have such a manual in the distro yet for
ServiceMix 4. Do you want to raise a JIRA issue for that or try to
provide a patch based on what's been done for Camel/Karaf?
