It should work in theory, I had a similar set up a couple weeks ago except on one host, just different ports for activemq, etc. When you deploy the SAs you should see *both* servicemix instances log information regarding the endpoints. So try this, start up both instances without your SAs deployed and wait until they've connected to each other, then deploy one of your SAs (I guess the one containing the file sender for starters) and check that both instances log the available endpoint. If that doesn't happen then there's definitely something mis-configured, for example can you double check that with both instances you've commented out the default SEDA and JCA flow so you're left with just JMSFlow?
