which version of the JMS component do you use: 2008.01, 2009.01, 2009.02 or trunk (2010.01-SNAPSHOT) ?

On the trunk, I suspect a bug. The JmsJcaConsumerEndpoint implements JmsEndpointType, which is correct. But in the JmsComponent's getEndpointClasses() method doesn't contain the JmsJcaConsumerEndpoint class (whereas it contains JmsEndpoint, JmsConsumerEndpoint and JmsProviderEndpoint).

I'm going to try to reproduce your issue. If I can confirm the bug, I will correct it (and add an unit test).
