Charles, Jean-Baptiste, We have never created a release notes page at development time in the past, but it might not be a bad idea to start doing this. I know that e.g. the Apache Camel community is doing this and with great results.
The 4.2.0 release is coming up as soon as the pending Felix votes are done, so I did take create an initial draft of the releases notes at http://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/display/SM/ServiceMix+4.2.0+release+notes+(draft). Both of you should have wiki edit rights, so feel free to start adding to this page, it will save us some time when doing the release because we only have to add the list of issues resolved at that time.
