I am considering ServiceMix for a project and have a couple of
high-level questions:
1) How would you deploy ServiceMix into Geronimo? What I need is to have
the ESB running on top of Geronimo (instead of stand-alone) and have a
way of deploying "service assemblies" to it. I imagine having a
ServiceMix WAR that I can start/stop. When started, I can deploy and run
service assemblies to the Geronimo server (much like I can do that with
a WAR/EAR/RAR) and when stopped, everything gets deactivated (of course
other war/ear/rar deployments keep going). Is that possible? Is it hard?
2) Assuming (1) is possible, how would I go about deploying service
assemblies into that JBI container? The stand-alone distro has the
"hotdeploy" folder. Would that be preserved somehow? Could one deploy
assemblies remotely (e.g. via JMX?).
