Hi Brian,
ServiceMix components 2009.02 (which uses CXF 2.2.5) are not included in
any ServiceMix releases. However, you can install on ServiceMix 3.3.1
without problem.
Concerning ServiceMix components 2010.01 (which uses CXF 2.2.6), it's
not yet released. I plan to release it tomorrow evening.
It will be included in ServiceMix 3.3.2 and ServiceMix 4.2.

You don't need to expicitly define it in your POM as it's transitively
provided by servicemix-cxf-bc pom.
FYI, servicemix-cxf-bc 2010.01 uses CXF 2.2.6.
