L.S., Both ServiceMix 3.x and 4 allow you to register an ExchangeListener with the NMR, which will get called whenever an Exchange is being sent/accepted/failed. The interface definition itself is slightly different for both versions and so is the way to register the listener with the NMR. For ServiceMix 4, we have a few examples in the NMR project that show how to add listeners for both endpoints and exchanges in http://svn.apache.org/viewvc/servicemix/smx4/nmr/trunk/examples/interceptors/. Which version of ServiceMix are you using?
