Thanks, Jean-Baptiste ! This implementation seems to me more oriented to "technical" events of the NMR... while I was looking for something for business events rised by different applications (for exemple, registration of the death of someone, upon which a tax system would listen to close the taxation and send the final "invoice")...
WS-Eventing or simple pub/sub was another thing to explore, but I was firstly looking for some structural support... and I don't see any reference to WS-Notification except in JBI components... Thanks for your help, Mike 2011/3/15 Jean-Baptiste Onofré <[email protected]> > Hi Mike, > > the NMR provide an Event API. > > The Event API could listen on an endpoint or on an exchange and call a > method. > > Basically, an event listener is a POJO which implements EndpointListener or > ExchangeListener interface (depending of the kind of listener that you > want). > > You register these POJOs as OSGi service, using Blueprint for instance: > > <bean id="myListener" class=""/> > > <service ref="myListener" > interface="org.apache.servicemix.nmr.api.event.ExchangeListener"/> > > You can take a look on: > https://cwiki.apache.org/SMX4NMR/10-events.html > > Regards > JB > > > On 03/15/2011 04:55 PM, Michael Dewitte wrote: > >> Hi, >> >> quite new to this kind of stuff with ServiceMix...
