I know of these points, but I'm just trying to demonstrate how to use marshalers for extending Binding Components by certain functionality for my master's thesis. As you can imagine I have very tight time constraints and since both of your suggestions seemed much more complicated to me, I picked this alternative. If you've got hints how to easily get my example up and running with camel and cxf while still being able to use custom marshalers, I would appreciate them! Thanks, Stefan
