Hi Freeman,
I tried at home on a laptop connected to internet with no proxy and no
firewall. I ran into an error when trying to build the
wsdl-first-osgi-package example as to not finding the codegen jar. I will
post that error tonight into the forum.
Yeah, this is an important info here, it indicate something wrong during your maven try to download something, it means your internet access or maven somehow is wrong, if maven download doesn't work, it won't surprise me that you encounter several problem and SMX doesn't work. You at least can open a browser and put the cxf codegen jar url in it and see if you can download from the browser, if it works from browser, then it means your maven somehow is incorrect. A quick question, could you build other project on this machine with maven?

The good news is, I was trying out the Fuse-Esb-4.4.1 and I got these same examples which are <cxf-osgi> and <wsdl-first-osgi-package> working after manually installing several missing jars that maven could not download into my local repo. I would like to know why "Apache-Servicemix-4.3.0" is giving this SAXParser error when trying to parse the jaxws.xsd file. I assume the <Fuse-esb> has to go thru the same process when creating a JAX-WS webservice
and it is able to do this. What gives ?

Should I just continue with Fuse-Esb then ?

-thanks,
RR.
