L.S., There will definitely be a 2012.01 release to upgrade to newer version of Camel and CXF when we do our 4.5.0 release of ServiceMix. However, we're not currently planning any new ServiceMix 3.x releases to come with those newer versions of the JBI components, but you should be able to just upgrade that component yourself if necessary. I would recommend you to start looking at ServiceMix 4.x though, because any new development/docs/... we are doing at the moment is geared towards ServiceMix 4 instead.
