So Karf (OSGi) is the only way for deploying in Servicemix 5 and

If I understood the above statement correctly, there are plans to
support deploying camel as a war in Tomcat like container hosted in
servicemix, (in addition to karaf) and not deploying karaf inside tomcat.
Yes, that's why I said "depending of the OSGi coupling" ;)
