Hi,

            Thanks for the reply.

Karaf. It means that Karaf could be available as a WAR that you can deploy
in your existing WebContainer (like Tomcat). So it means, that ServiceMix
would be able to deploy in the same way.
So Karf (OSGi) is the only way for deploying in Servicemix 5 and
optionally servicemix 5 can be deployed inside a webcontainer.

It's the case for ServiceMix 4, for ServiceMix 5 nothing is clearly defined for now.

            From Nodets comment below:
"What I really mean when talking about a Tomcat based deployement is really
to bring the value we'll work on (i.e. message analysis, auditing, console
and such) which are completely unrelated to OSGi, to
people that want to deploy camel routes using web apps in Tomcat. If you
look at the Camel survey
(http://camel.apache.org/camel-30-roadmap.data/camel-survey-2010.pdf) a lot
of Camel users don't really use OSGi, and there's no reason why not trying
to help those people when using Camel to build an ESB. "
If I understood the above statement correctly, there are plans to
support deploying camel as a war in Tomcat like container hosted in
servicemix, (in addition to karaf) and not deploying karaf inside tomcat.

Yes, that's why I said "depending of the OSGi coupling" ;)
