Jan-Helge, Unfortunately, ODE 1.3.5 is not compatible with Apache ServiceMix 4.4.1 at the moment - have a look at https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/SMX4-810 and the linked ODE issue https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/ODE-917 for more details. You may want to give things a go by applying this patch yourself to an ODE build - note that even my patch is over a year old now, so you may have additional work to do in order to get things resolved.
