Hi, You can try to add cxf 2.5.x feature.xml(features:addUrl) first and then install cxf feature there. But the camel 2.8.4 which shipped with SMX4.4.1 still need cxf 2.4.x available, so so may encounter dependency mismatch issues.
Another way is use FUSE ESB 7.x which support both CXF 2.5.x and Camel 2.9.x out of the box.
