What is requestShareApp supposed to return?

Hi,

I'm implementing requestShareApp in our container running shindig 1.0.1. 
Calling opensocial.requestShareApp opens up an dialog where the user can 
choose whom he wants to invite and send an invitation to these users. 
But am I supposed to return the selected users back to the gadget? And 
is requestShareApp required to return something? As far as I understand 
it should only invoke the callback method, is that correct?
