Is there a method to cache data on a gadget by gadget basis rather than
employing a global Shindig setting such as EhCache?
For example, we have a Weather gadget and would like to include UserPref
options to update the weather data, via calls to an external weather data
API, but only every 12 or 24 hours (thus keeping daily API calls down to a
minimum). The user would select their preference and the current weather
data would be remain unchanged until the API was again called in either 12
or 24 hours depending on the user preference set.
