Hi,
actually updating bundles through the web console should work, however
this requires a lot of manual work.
Another way would be to build a new launchpad with the newer bundles
and just start this in the same location as the old launchpad. This
should update your installation as well.
The third option would be to use something like the file installer,
for this you need the bundle org.apache.sling.installer.provider.file
be installed and specify a property in sling.properties like:
sling.fileinstall.dir=${sling.home}/install
Then just put newer bundles into that directy and they get picked up at runtime.
