As you say the typical cause is the SlingRepository service misisng. > ...Can anyone offer any advice?.. Look under /system/console/bundles if any bundles are not starting, and under /system/console/components for the state of the SlingRepository service. You can also turn on DEBUG logging from /system/console/configMgr and try restarting the jackrabbit.server bundle from /system/console/bundles to see what log messages that produces. -Bertrand
