When I setup Squirellmail, I setup a caching IMAP proxy because, as their instructions said "A caching IMAP proxy server can vastly improve SquirrelMail performance by cutting down on the number of times you have to create a new connection to the IMAP server."

Is this also true for SOGo? Should I have sogo connect to localhost:144, the imap proxy instead of directly to the IMAP server? If so, how do I specific the port for SOGo to connect to for IMAP proxy?

Thanks,

Ben
