Hello list,

There have been several occasions, such as the one i just posted regarding the bare LFs, that lead me to think that SOGo doesn't handle exceptions in a graceful way. The user shouldn't be presented with a low level exception, but rather a human readable message, or even with the error message/event message that lead SOGo to fail in the operation.

Example:

In the event that there was an SMTP failure, the user would be greeted with a message stating there was an error sending the message, the administrative contact could also be provided and the SMTP error message could also be added for better debugging.

just another 2¢,

Hugo Monteiro.
