Hi,
SOGos vacation messages depends on sieve with vacation-plugin, which
filters the stuff. Both the sieves I know (cmusieve and dovecot-sieve)
are filtering mailinglists.
IMHO, SOGOo only writes a sieve-script via managesieve, which enables
vacation.

SOGos vacation messages have an option to identify and then ignore
mailinglists. I'm not sure anymore how it was done, but I think mostly
through headers like List-Id.
