Finally got it to sync since I upgraded to the latest nightly. I was looking at the properties of the address book in Thunderbird. Closed the window and clicked the sync button and it worked. Then I un-subscribed the address book and tried again. And I am stuck again. Will not sync for anything but the web client is fine.

Also, are you able to see the contacts in the web interface?
If you open and resave the missing contacts, does it solve the problem?
