Awesome news! Any word on approximately when the unread message count on
subfolders will be ready?
This will be part of the next release, among many other things like :

# Apple Address Book support (through CardDAV) and Apple iPhone 4 support
for address book
# SSL support for IMAP and SMTP
# Email reminders for events and tasks
Most of those features are already implemented and available from the
nightly builds.
