After seeing all of the posts regarding getting CardDAV to work with
SOGo, I'm wondering if using SRV records has any particular application
(for both CalDAV and CardDAV), or, could perhaps solve the varying URL
issue which seems difficult to get working properly in Apache:

After looking at this post, this seems to be problematic with other
software as well. Are vendors, like Apple, following the spec to
differing degrees or is the spec
(http://tools.ietf.org/html/draft-ietf-vcarddav-carddav-10) just not
exact enough?
