Peter, Iit seems like you listed everything that you need. As long as sogo can access your LDAP server for auth and your IMAP server for mail you should be able to make this work.
If you use LDAP address books users will not be able to edit them. You mentioned funambol on the same line as imap. Funambol is not used with email on sogo, only cal, card, task stuff. Good luck setting it up, Mark On Friday, September 03, 2010 05:14 PM CDT, <[email protected]> wrote: > > Hi List, > > I would like to try Sogo in an extended test environment. > > But have troubles figuring out what software is needed - how the puzzle fits > together. > > General > Goal is to have Single-Sign-On across the board so I will need OpenLDAP > The env. also need to support Win clients so Samba needs to talk to OpenLDAP > (Have done this before so that should be okay) > Users will be using Thunderbird as e-mail client (no outlook, even on Windows) > > E-mail > I have only a few (virtual) domains (15) to take care off (with limited amount > of user <10) > A major preference for qmail/Dovecot (have a bit of experience here too) > I don't like using qmail-ldap.
