I'm trying to change the username for a user on the system (going from [email protected] to user. Using the fantastic sogo-tool backup and restore I can just change all of the references in the backup file and restore to the DB to take care of that part. It's also easy to change the username in cyrus-imap. The only part I'm concerned about is the Thunderbird plug-ins. From earlier postings I understand that the plug-ins (particularly Integrator) obtains the username from the first email account configured in Thunderbird. If the username associated with this account suddenly changes, are the plug-ins smart enough to propagate the changes through their settings as well (e.g. addressbook, calendar)?

Also, do these plug-ins authenticate the user using the same mechanism that the SOGo Web interface uses?
