Hi all,

I currently have a copy of SOGo installed using postgresql as my data storage,
and have the user database shared with my existing mail server (running
postfix/dovecot). As Google has now added two factor authentication to their
system, I would like to create a similar system for my email system. I already
have a plan for how to implement the system for the email portion and I'm now
starting to look at how to implement it for use with SOGo.

Looking at the documentation for SOGo it appears the only way SOGo
authenticates itself against the database is by directly querying the password
and preforming its own hashing system. Is there any way to have SOGo pass in
the password proper to the database server to let me preform the
authentication? And also is it possible for me to send a different password to
SOGo with which it should authenticate against my imap/smtp server?

Thank you for your time,

Matthew Dawson
