Sogo should support IMAP alert, i think that RFC describes better what i say

ALERT
The human-readable text contains a special alert that MUST be
presented to the user in a fashion that calls the user's
attention to the message.
Example: S: * OK IMAP4rev1 server ready
C: A001 LOGIN fred blurdybloop
S: * OK [ALERT] System shutdown in 10 minutes
S: A001 OK LOGIN Completed
For example Thunderbird, Outlook and Evolution support it.
Alert should be useful for warn user about password change or other informations
