This is still a MS Outlook feature which strongly seduces the users of my
department.
Auto Completion of the email addresses work fine with :
Addresses coming from adress book
Addresses coming from LDAP directory
But do not work with addresses coming from archived email messages.
Not a problem for me but sound useful for outlook friendly users.
What do you mean by "archived email messages" ?
When you send mails to "unknown" addresses you can tell thunderbird to
put that address in a specific address book.
Outlook has a autocomplete which just remember the addresses
where you did send emails (But that is stored somewhere on the local machine
and most of the time lost when you do some migration, new setup of the
user profile)
