Yes, I agree that this would be nice,
but don't forget about the restrictions of active sync.

With cal/cardav you can have multiple calendars/address books from your
server,
with ActiveSync you usually only get just one and only one of these.

Do you have the source available for download somewhere ?
I could have a look at it.

I did descide to stop looking into zPush when I discovered that
my HTC Desire did not properly work with the built in ActiveSync client
against
Exchange 2010 servers.
I did then try various other ActiveSync clients for android, and every
single one had it's problems
against a exchange 2010 server. (Sometimes lost mails, calendar entries
with wrong time zones, german umlauts gibing problems and so on)

After this I looked at funambol for Android, did mostly work, but the
calendar sync issue was a show stopper at that time (2 years ago).

Then I switched over to cal/cardav and the problems where gone, and I
did gain the ability to
havbe multiple calendars and address books synced to the handhelds.

The "sogosync" I am using is from a thread that was started below:

I have checked the site he linked to but it is no longer active. I do have a copy of the tarball I used to install the z-push if you want me to send it to you. I have modified some stuff so it may be better if I just tar up my version and send to you. Just let me know either way. If you could look at it that would be great!

I understand the advantages of the caldav/cardav now. And now that I know a single interface will not work on android for now I am ok with that. Just if I can use the stock email client that would be great.
