If you delete the sqllite acl file in Thunderbird's
profile/calendar-data it fixes it ..
Let me know if this helps. I've gone though lots of permutations and
found a few small issues with 1.3.9 like this ..

The both at begining an upgrade and after a fresh install.
After deleting sqllite acl I have always the bug.
I test with TB 8 + lightning classic , add manualy my cal and it's work.
So I think it could be the plugin : Integrator 106 or lightning Inverse
edition 106
In SOGo 1.3.7 and plugins in 105 I have no bug.
but where it's crazy : I have install too a SOGo ZEG 1.3.8 with plugins
105 and i have always the bug !
No more ideas ?
Anymore I solved my problem with install of ZEG SOGo 1.3.7 and plugins 3.105
in my point of view the 1.3.9 version and plugins 3.106 are overbug
